Accessed via a small opening in the ground, a narrow wooden staircase leads into a huge round cavern, it is surrounded by stalactites and stalagmites where you turn around, you can walk around them until you reach the cenote inside. It is a perfect place to visit with children or young adults.

It is called Car Wash since they used to wash taxis along the Cobá road, as a result of that, they called it Cenote Carwash but it is also called Aktun Ha. Sometimes a layer of algae invades at different levels, and the bottom of the Cenote seems to be green, you can look at various types of turtles and fish, with just a snorkel and a mask you can easily see a beautiful formation of large stalactite. It is simply a magical place.
